    Dear all,

Relatively recently, we have installed your WordPress plugin “WP Customer Area” and we are happy with some extensions offered and we are willing to pay for them. But, we also have some needs that these extensions do not offer, our question is if you have any way of offering help or documentation to implement new extensions even if we have to develop it ourselves.

Is there any documentation to develop a new add-on?

We want the administrator of the page to be able to give the user the authority to only read or read and download a file or the files of a project.

    Hi,

We want the administrator of the page to be able to give the user the authority to only read or read and download a file or the files of a project.

I’m not sure I get what you want to do. As far as I can read here, this is already easily doable by setting the permission/capabilities correctly.

    Regards.

    Hi,

Sorry if I have not explained myself well, what I have tried to say is that we need to be able to choose if a user can only see a file, or see the file and download it.
For example, I, as an administrator, I want to assign a file to Mike, but I want Mike to see the file (PDF) and can not download it.

    Hi,

We currently don’t have this feature out of the box actually, sorry. Rights are actually given for the entire private post content (including post title, description, etc..), not for the file link itself.

    This would require custom development.
You’ll probably need to edit the templates, hide the button and/or only display it if the user has the rights to see it. It would depend on how you want to give access to the file.

    Hope that helps, regards.
