Only user that created the private page can upload attached file

    Hello!

    Using Wp Customer Area with Enhanced Files. On the private pages, only the user that has created the post can upload a PDF to the post. Is this something that works like this or a bug?

    Hello,

    Best way to let your users publish attachments to private file posts is to use the Front Office Publishing add-on.

    You’ll get additional Permissions to define if you want subscribers to be able to edit only authored posts, or also owned post (=posts they are assigned to).

    Thanks for your reply and sorry for my late reply. This is not the issue I was referring, my bad.

    We have 2 admin users (not front end users, back end users). User A creates a Private page and when user B tries to upload a PDF to that Private file, I get the error. Is this how it works? It wans’t like this on previous versions.

    Yes, this happens when an administrator which is not author or assignee tries to upload a PDF file to a Private post. Can you address me how to temporarily fix this until new updates?
