Attached files cannot be opened from the backend, there’s not even a link to the file or a view of the storage folder, making the plugin useless for the purpose of my project. Is it a bug?

      Hi Samuel,

The file attachments and download links works on tht frontend (for logged-in users with access). The lack of a link in the admin view is intentional in the current version — that section is more focused on managing which files are attached, rather than accessing them directly.

That said, we understand how having a quick preview/download link in the backend could be useful. We will consider it for a future update.

      Best regards,

Hello, I am joining this thread with the following question.
I have a company where we manage all my clients’ information.
I need my clients to attach documents through the platform I manage with your wpcustomerarea plugin, and I have verified that the Front Office Publishing add-on allows documents to be attached from the frontend.
      My question is as follows:
When a customer attaches a document, can it only be viewed by the site administrator?
Does the site administrator need to have a user account created to manage documents on the frontend?
Can the site administrator download documents attached by customers from the frontend?

      Thank you very much.
