Changing pagina’s into berichten

    We would like to change the word pagina’s into berichten. Can you tell me if it’s possible, and if possible, how?

    Hi,

    Yes, you would have to update the plugin translation files as this comes from a PO/MO file. Please refer to the WordPress documentation regarding the topic of « translating plugins ».

    Hi,

    Thank you for your answer, but this is not the one I’m looking for as berichten is not a translation of pagina’s. It’s an entirely different word.

    Can we change this word? Thank you in advance.

    The only way to change it would be to edit the translation files. However, if all across your website you want to change pagina into bericht, that will work.

    Thank you so much for your help. I just changed it. Is it possible my translation changes can be overwritten with updates from the plug-in or wordpress translations updates?

    Yes, it will, except if you first copied the translations from wp-content/plugins/customer-area/languages to wp-content/customer-area/languages.

    The plugin should look at this place for customized languages files.

    When editing the languages with PoEdit, you might probably want to first change the location of the sources catalog, then make your changes, and re-compile.
