Double finder not working

    • # il y a 2 mois et 2 semaines

I have purchased the search engine addon, but I have the following problem:

When I add the search engine shortcode, a large bar appears to search, and on the right to filter and search.

The problem is that if I write a word in the large bar, and press the search button, all the files appear because it detects that the small search bar is empty.

      How can i fix this?

      Visual Example (see attachment)

I give the example with the attachment:

If I type in 1, and press 3, it shows all the files because 2 is empty

      Hello,

Normally, there’s a script that prevents the behavior you’re describing. The script doesn’t seem to work for you.
Can you tell me which browser you’re using ?
Finally, are you seeing any errors in the console? If so, can you provide me with screenshots of these errors ?

      Regards

Hello, no other errors appear. On the automatically created page /search/ it works fine, but if I use the shortcode, I get the error I’m talking about

        Hello,

The shortcodes inserted on static WPCA pages are not user shortcodes at all, and are not intended to be copied/pasted/dropped. These shortcodes are simply used to call up add-ons on pages registered as belonging to WPCA.
There are a few user shortcodes available in the documentation.

Please do not modify pages that include shortcodes.

What are you trying to do? Do you want to customize the design of the Search page?

        Regards,

I wanted to add a search engine on the page where I show the files, so that users can search easily, that’s why I used the shortcode
