i bought a switch user add-on but it doesn’t allow my clients to download the file that i upload
The Switch Users add-on adds a dropdown list of users to the private area for the administrators (or users with the according capability), and allows to view the private area of another user. It should not allow to download a file you upload.
The download button should show up as part of the free base plugin. You don’t need any add-on for that. Regarding the add-ons, there’s only one add-on needed, if you want to post multiple files into a same single private file post, which is the Enhanced Files add-on. This add-on not only gives the permission to upload multiple files, but also create a “download all” button, which automatically compress all the files into a zip file. Maybe were you referring to that one? If you have the same issue when uploading only one file per private file post, the issue comes from something else.
Anyway, please provide some screenshots so I can see the issue and be able to help more precisely.
For now, I would suggest that you check for a plugin conflict to make sure anything is preventing that button to be displayed.
