      Hi.

When using your plugin, the user has to click to times to download a files:

      1. First clicking on the desired element (as is shown in my screenshot).
      2. Later clicking on the button “Download” in the page where more info about the file is shown.

In my case, the second step is unnecessary. Could it be possible to disable the second step / screen and download the file when you click on the element / file in je first step?

Thanks in advance an d best regards,

      Hello,

The short answer is: No, you can’t do that. This how WP Customer Area is designed, because it follows the WP standard structure. You create some posts, and you access them through a listing, that we personally call “collections”.

However, if you have development skills, or if you have a developer, you could still edit the collection views, to display the whole posts there. This is not something we would recommend, because as soon as you’ll activate some feature, or install new add-ons, you’ll need to copy any added feature to the post, back to the collection views.

If you still want achieve that, you could take a look at this post to get an idea about what basically needs to be done. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to give any additional tip or help about this, since it is personal customization and goes outside of our support scope.

Note: The given post above aims on completely modifying the collections to show everything in there. But you could also simply edit our template files, and use there our private files functions to add a button to download the attachment file.

      Regards.
