Page Template – File download pages

    For the core pages found here Settings > WP Customer Area > Site Pages – ‘Edit it >>’  I’ve edited each page to use a full page template (without right sidebar) vs the default template that included a right sidebar.

    For sub pages such as a file download page the page template is the default (with sidebar). Here is an example path to the page we want to be full width /customer-area/files/my-files/2023/01/15/sample-pdf/

    Is there a way to make this page use the full page template vs the default template?

    Hi,

    Best way is to use custom and single templates.

    Basically, you need to copy the full-width template file from your theme to your child-theme (if using one), and then rename it to cuar.php. This will tell WP Customer Area to use this file as a template to display any page, even archive pages. If you need more control over the available templates names, see the theme development documentation for references.
