Hello team, hope your fine.
Please, I need to customize the search results in order to only display files from owned users.
Right now it’s showing ALL the files owned by all the users and I don’t need that.
¿How can I accomplish this?
Another question, it’s possible to clean the results info, so it’s only display files title and date, nothing else. ( remove “by user” and “for user”).
Thanks in advance

That shouldn’t be the case. You’re using the Search add-on, right?

Yes, it is possible. You can override our templates and remove any part you don’t want to show.

Also, make sure that you did not check View ANY private file for your subscribers in Settings > WP Customer Area > Capabilities > Private Files.
Regards.

Hello Thomas, how are you?
That shouldn’t be the case. You’re using the Search add-on, right?
Yes. When I search any query the files displayed are only owned by user (this is ok).
But, when I leave empty the query, the result will display all the files from all users.

Currently it’s only check “View private files“, “View ANY private file” it’s uncheck.
Another question
I want to display only the search field & search button (no other filters) but do it through the shortcode so I don’t have to override the templates.
I want to leave the sidebar and the behavior on widgets and other places, that’s why I don’t want to override the templates.
It’s possible to customize the shortcode like that?
Ex. [customer-area-search filters=no max_results=no /]
Thanks again

Hi,
But, when I leave empty the query, the result will display all the files from all users.
I tried that on my development environment and I don’t have this issue.
Could you please post some temporary admin credentials in a private reply, pls?but do it through the shortcode so I don’t have to override the templates.
Sorry but you can’t do that through shortcode parameters. You’ll need to edit templates in order to remove those parts.
Regards.
