    At this stage, we haven’t had any other reports of slow performance related to the “Show additional information” setting. That doesn’t mean your experience isn’t valid — it might be related to a specific interaction on your site (another plugin, a large number of users or conversations, etc.).

    Since enabling this option allows the conversation replies to work correctly on your setup, we recommend keeping it enabled for now. If the additional information blocks are not essential for you, we could explore ways to reduce their impact in the future (e.g. through customization or filtering).

    We’ll keep monitoring for similar reports on our end and look into optimizing this rendering in a future update.

    Was the ‘conversations’ interface working properly before, or has this always been an issue on your site?
    Have you recently installed a new plugin or made changes that might override or customize the WP Customer Area display or behavior?
    (For example: a theme override, a custom plugin, or something that modifies access permissions or post types)

    This will help us determine if the issue is related to the plugin configuration, your theme, or a possible third-party interference.

    Il est possible que votre problème de licence provienne d’un ancien enregistrement local resté en place après votre renouvellement.

    Pour corriger cela, je vous recommande :

    1. Aller dans votre site WordPress → WP Customer Area → License Keys.

    2. Supprimer toutes les clés enregistrées actuellement (effacez les champs ou cliquez sur “Disconnect” si disponible).

    3. Depuis votre espace client, récupérez vos nouvelles clés API valides.

    4. Collez-les dans les champs correspondants dans WordPress, sélectionnez le bon produit, puis cliquez sur Activate.

    Cela devrait réinitialiser correctement vos activations.

    Hi Samuel,

    The file attachments and download links works on tht frontend (for logged-in users with access). The lack of a link in the admin view is intentional in the current version — that section is more focused on managing which files are attached, rather than accessing them directly.

    That said, we understand how having a quick preview/download link in the backend could be useful. We will consider it for a future update.

    Great news — we’re glad to hear the reactivation worked!
    Regarding the message about version 7.1.1 of the Notifications plugin: you can safely ignore it for now. It’s simply a versioning delay on our end, and it will be corrected in the next release cycle.
    It won’t affect the functionality or usage of the extension in any way.

    Thanks for the screenshot — it helps a lot.

    Everything seems correctly set up on your site, but we believe the issue comes from the license not having any resource instance attached yet. This can happen if the plugin ZIP files haven’t been downloaded yet from your account.

    To resolve this, could you please:

    1. Log into your account on our website

    2. Download each of the following plugin files manually:
      – WP Customer Area – Authentication Forms
      – WP Customer Area – Managed Groups
      – WP Customer Area – Notifications

    After that, return to the License Keys tab in your WordPress admin and try activating the keys again.

    Let us know how it goes — this should solve it!

    Hi Samuel,

    Thanks for the additional info and screenshot.

    From what I can see, the “Preview” button you’re using doesn’t seem to be part of the standard WP Customer Area plugin — it was likely added via custom code or a theme override on your site.

    This might explain why the link is pointing to a “download” URL, but ends in a 404. That type of link is usually protected and may no longer be valid, or not properly initialized during file updates.

    To help you troubleshoot, could you check:
    – If you have any theme override files in “your-theme/customer-area/private-file/”
    – Or if custom code was added to inject the preview button
    – And whether the file still downloads correctly using the Downloadbutton

    Thanks for reaching out regarding the license activation issue. I can see that your license is active on our side, which is good news. Would you mind telling me if you still confronted to this issue ?

    If so, to help you quickly, could you please send me the following:

    – The exact API key you’re trying to activate (you can obfuscate part of it).
    – Are you trying to install “Authentication Forms” ?
    – A quick screenshot of the license activation screen (where the error appears).
    – The domain or site URL where you’re trying to activate the license.

    Once I have that, I’ll be able to check if the plugin is correctly linked to your license and help resolve this.

    Podrías verificar si el plugin principal WP Customer Area está activado en tu sitio?
    El add-on “Authentication Forms” depende de él para funcionar correctamente. Si no está activo o instalado, puede causar tu error.

    You will find attached to this message a screenshot of the add-on as you should see it since you activated it.
    Would you mind telling me if this is what you see on the wordpress admin of your website when setting up Email Notification add-on ?
    If so, you can enable the “file created” option that will suit your needs.

    The occuring error might be provoked by the theme you are using.
    Would you mind telling me what is the theme you are currently using ?
    Have you tried using the twenty twelve theme ?

    The Notifications plug-in is the one that may suits your needs best : https://wp-customerarea.com/product/wpca-notifications/
    However, the plug-in does not support email notifications for expired content yet. For now, you ‘ll need to resend your file to your customer.
