Maître des clés# il y a 1 jour et 10 heuresHi Selene,
Thank you for your message 😊
No worries — you can safely stay on version 3.1.1 of the Invoicing add-on. It is the current stable version.
The alert mentioning version 3.1.2 was caused by an unintended entry in our changelog and is not an actual available release. Sorry for the confusion!Let us know if you need anything else.
Best regards,

Maître des clés# il y a 4 jours et 3 heuresHi,
Thanks a lot for taking the time to report this potential issue.
While we generally rely on the WordPress.org plugin repository’s vulnerability reports — which tend to be more consistent and vetted — we do take all reports seriously.
Our team has audited the relevant code and will soon release a minor update that includes security hardening measures, even though the impact appears to be very limited.
We appreciate your vigilance and support in helping us keep WP Customer Area secure.
Best regards

Maître des clés# il y a 2 semaines et 4 joursHi,
Thank you for your message, and I fully understand your concern.
We are currently working on updating the Authentication Forms add-on to support PHP 8.3 and 8.4. This process is ongoing, but we can’t give a precise release date yet — we want to make sure compatibility is fully tested before releasing an update. We will inform you as soon as we’re releasing.
Regarding the Notifications add-on, you can safely ignore the update prompt. Version 7.1.0 is currently the latest version available, and there is no 7.1.1 yet — the message you’re seeing is just a version mismatch we’ll correct soon on our end.
Thank you again for your patience.
Best regards,

Maître des clés# il y a 4 semainesHi,
Thank you for your message, and I’m really sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing.
We’re currently working on ensuring full compatibility with PHP 8.3 and 8.4, which do introduce several breaking changes — especially with deprecated functions that were still tolerated in earlier PHP versions.
The Authentication Forms add-on is indeed on our list of components to update for PHP 8.4 support.
If you can share the exact error message from your logs, I can check if there’s a patch or a quick fix we can suggest in the meantime.Regarding the Notifications add-on:
No worries — the message about an update is misleading. Version 7.1.0 is actually the latest available version, and there’s no update to apply for now.And just to clarify: WP Customer Area is actively maintained, and updates are still ongoing. If you rely on the plugin, there’s no need to worry — support and development are not abandoned.
Let me know if you’d like help troubleshooting your current setup or need temporary solutions while we release the next updates.
Best regards,

Maître des clés# il y a 1 moisHi Roberto,
Unfortunately, for accounting and invoicing reasons, I’m not able to directly switch a purchased plugin for another.
However, I’ve just refunded your purchase of the “Additional Owner Types” add-on — so you’ll simply need to place a new order for the “Enhanced Files” plugin, which is the one your site is using.
Once the order is completed, you’ll be able to download the plugin from your account and activate the license key directly from your WordPress admin area.Let me know once it’s done or if you need any help during the process.
Best regards,
Emmanuel

Maître des clés# il y a 1 moisHi Roberto,
You’re right — I think we misunderstood each other earlier. From what I can see, your renewal on May 6th was for the “Additional Owner Types” add-on.
However, the renewal attempt for “Enhanced Files” — which is the one you’ve actually been using to manage multiple files per post — failed on April 30th, as shown in the screenshot I shared in my previous message. These two plugins have different purposes, and if your site was built using “Enhanced Files”, then that’s the one you’ll need to renew to restore the intended functionality.
Just to clarify :
I don’t get notified of failed renewal attempts for each customer automatically, so I can’t proactively flag this kind of issue unless someone contacts us.Let me know how things are working on your side right now.
Best regards,

Maître des clés# il y a 1 moisHi,
Thank you for the screenshot.
From what I can see, you’re trying to access a private area page (areariservata…), which is indeed managed by WP Customer Area.
However, the error message you’re seeing:“È stato rilevato un tentativo di aggiramento dei controlli di sicurezza!”
does not come from our plugin, but rather from a security plugin or rule on your site that is blocking the request. This could happen if:
– Your session has expired
– You’re using an outdated or bookmarked link
– A plugin like Wordfence, Solid Security, or similar is intercepting the accessWhat you can try:
– Clear your browser cache and cookies
– Log out and log back in from the homepage
– Avoid using bookmarked or expired linksIf the issue persists, it might help to check with your site administrator or developer to see which plugin may be responsible for that message.
Let me know if you need help identifying it.

Maître des clés# il y a 1 moisHi Emma,
With pleasure — and thank you for confirming the order number.
The refund for order WPCA-024197 has just been processed.
The amount will appear on your statement depending on your bank’s processing times.Feel free to go ahead with the new Personal license whenever you’re ready — and let me know if you need anything else in the meantime.

Maître des clés# il y a 1 moisHi Roberto,
You’re absolutely right — your payment from May 6th went through correctly, and the license is now valid on your account.
Just a quick note:
The license activation system is designed to work automatically when the extension is downloaded and installed on your site.
I noticed that the zip file for the extension hasn’t been downloaded yet from your account. To complete the process:
– Please log in to your account
– Download the corresponding plugin file
– Install it on your WordPress siteThen go to WP Customer Area → License Keys and click Activate
This should link your license correctly and remove any warnings.
Let me know once done — I’ll be happy to check everything is working as expected!
Best regards,
—

Maître des clés# il y a 1 moisHi,
Thanks for reaching out — I understand the situation.
If you’re unable to recover the email linked to your original account, the quickest solution would be to:
– Create a new account on our website using your current email address
– Then purchase the required add-ons again, making sure they’re compatible with WP Customer Area 8+This way, you’ll have immediate access to the latest versions and full compatibility with your current setup.
If you prefer to try recovering your original account instead, please send us:
– Any email address you might have used for the purchase
– Approximate date of purchase
– A receipt or transaction ID if availableLet us know how you’d like to proceed — we’re here to help either way.
Best regards,

Maître des clés# il y a 1 moisHi Emma,
Thank you for your message, and sorry you didn’t receive a reply earlier.
To avoid this kind of issue in the future, the simplest and cleanest solution is for me to refund the full amount of your recent order, so that you can place a new subscription with the options that match your current needs (Personal plan, without Design Extras).
Does that sound good to you?
If so, I’ll proceed with the refund right away. Woud you mind giving me the order number ?Looking forward to your confirmation.

Maître des clés# il y a 1 moisHi,
Thank you for your questions! I’ll be happy to clarify what’s possible with WP Customer Area and its add-ons:
1. Is it possible to create multiple folders for individual users and upload files to each specific folder?
By default, Customer Area allows you to assign private files to individual users, but it doesn’t support true folder structures like a filesystem.
However, you can simulate multiple folders per user using:
– Categories or custom post types to group files logically
– Naming files clearly to reflect folder-like organization (e.g. Invoices / Project A / Contract.pdf)
If your goal is to create isolated areas per user with multiple documents, WP Customer Area handles this well by assigning files directly to users, but not via nested folder trees.2. Does the “Content Expiry” plugin unpublish content at a specific time without deleting it?
Yes, that’s correct.
The Content Expiry extension allows you to define an expiration date for any WPCA content (private files, pages, etc.). When the date is reached:
– The content is unpublished
– It remains in the admin (not deleted), and you can reactivate it manually later
This is useful for time-sensitive documents or temporary file availability.3. Can the “Notifications” plugin send an email when a document is uploaded to a user’s folder?
Yes, the Notifications add-on supports this use case.
You can configure it so that:
– Whenever a private file is published and assigned to a user, that user will receive an email notification automatically.
– The notification can include the file name, a link, and custom content via templates.
This feature ensures users are informed in real time when new documents are made available to them.Let me know if you’d like help setting up any of these features — or if you have a more specific workflow in mind.
