    Hi Joren,

    We noticed that the extension you purchased has not yet been installed on your WordPress site. To activate your license, you first need to download the .zip file of the add-on from your account on our website.

    Once downloaded, please install it in your WordPress dashboard (Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin) and then activate it. After that, you will be able to enter your license key and complete the activation.

    We’re actively working on updating all our paid add-ons for full compatibility with PHP 8.4. This includes checking for deprecated features, adapting to breaking changes, and performing extensive tests to ensure nothing breaks in real-world usage.

    At this stage, we can’t commit to a specific release date, but rest assured that this update process is a priority and will be delivered progressively across add-ons.

    We’ll make sure to communicate clearly when each component is officially PHP 8.4–ready.

    Our team has audited the relevant code and will soon release a minor update that includes security hardening measures, even though the impact appears to be very limited.

    No worries — you can safely stay on version 3.1.1 of the Invoicing add-on. It is the current stable version.
    The alert mentioning version 3.1.2 was caused by an unintended entry in our changelog and is not an actual available release. Sorry for the confusion!

    Thank you for contacting us and for your continued trust in WP Customer Area.
    After reviewing your situation and due to our internal accounting constraints, we’re unfortunately unable to issue a partial refund for your recent order when a discount code was not applied at the time of payment.

    The only available solution is as follows:
    – We will proceed with a full refund of your payment (€420) to the card used for the transaction.
    – Once the refund has been completed, you can subscribe again, this time applying the promo code to benefit from the correct price of €294.
    – You will have to update your license keys on your WP Customer Area account.

    We are currently working on updating the Authentication Forms add-on to support PHP 8.3 and 8.4. This process is ongoing, but we can’t give a precise release date yet — we want to make sure compatibility is fully tested before releasing an update. We will inform you as soon as we’re releasing.

    Regarding the Notifications add-on, you can safely ignore the update prompt. Version 7.1.0 is currently the latest version available, and there is no 7.1.1 yet — the message you’re seeing is just a version mismatch we’ll correct soon on our end.

    Thank you for your message, and I’m really sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing.

    We’re currently working on ensuring full compatibility with PHP 8.3 and 8.4, which do introduce several breaking changes — especially with deprecated functions that were still tolerated in earlier PHP versions.

    The Authentication Forms add-on is indeed on our list of components to update for PHP 8.4 support.
    If you can share the exact error message from your logs, I can check if there’s a patch or a quick fix we can suggest in the meantime.

    Regarding the Notifications add-on:
    No worries — the message about an update is misleading. Version 7.1.0 is actually the latest available version, and there’s no update to apply for now.

    And just to clarify: WP Customer Area is actively maintained, and updates are still ongoing. If you rely on the plugin, there’s no need to worry — support and development are not abandoned.

    Unfortunately, for accounting and invoicing reasons, I’m not able to directly switch a purchased plugin for another.

    However, I’ve just refunded your purchase of the “Additional Owner Types” add-on — so you’ll simply need to place a new order for the “Enhanced Files” plugin, which is the one your site is using.
    Once the order is completed, you’ll be able to download the plugin from your account and activate the license key directly from your WordPress admin area.

    Let me know once it’s done or if you need any help during the process.

    You’re right — I think we misunderstood each other earlier.

    From what I can see, your renewal on May 6th was for the “Additional Owner Types” add-on.
    However, the renewal attempt for “Enhanced Files” — which is the one you’ve actually been using to manage multiple files per post — failed on April 30th, as shown in the screenshot I shared in my previous message.

    These two plugins have different purposes, and if your site was built using “Enhanced Files”, then that’s the one you’ll need to renew to restore the intended functionality.

    Just to clarify :
    I don’t get notified of failed renewal attempts for each customer automatically, so I can’t proactively flag this kind of issue unless someone contacts us.
