HUGE/BIG regression : unable to access the Forgotten Password page / Sign in

      The new version of the plugin prevents access to the forgotten password/sign in page (with the Authentication Forms add-on).

      To reproduce:
      1)
      Visit the URL /forgotten-password.

      Observe the regression: The message
      ‘You are not allowed to view this content.’ appears.

      It is impossible to change the password.

      2)
      Visit the URL /registration

      Observe the regression: The message
      ‘You are not allowed to view this content.’ appears.

      Unable to register.

      This is so significant that I wonder if you are testing developments or if you are putting them into production directly without testing.

      Can you fix the problem?

      Hi,

      Thank you very much for reporting this.

      We’ve identified the cause of this regression: it’s related to a recent update in the core of WP Customer Area that tightened page access controls. Unfortunately, this also affected some public pages provided by the Authentication Forms add-on.

      Our team is already working on a fix to restore public access to these pages while keeping the new security improvements in place. We’ll include this correction in the next maintenance release very shortly.

      We’ll notify you as soon as the fixed version is available.
