Allow users to update profile picture from frontend

    Hi,

    I was wondering if it is possible to allow users to change their own profile picture from the frontend using the main plugin. Is it possible? Or do I need an add-on to achieve this?

    Hi,

    The short answer is no, not out of the box.

    The long answer is yes, but you’ll need a bit of development knowledge to do that on your own.

    The easiest solution would be to use ACF and our ACF Integration add-on. You can create an image field that would show up on your user’s profile page. Then, you’ll find many tutorials on the web explaining how you can use an ACF image field to be used as an avatar.
