Front office publishing addo: set default owner to the person uploading the file

    Is it possible to set the owner of a file when it’s being uploaded in the front office to the current person that is uploading the file?
    I want users to upload files to their private area but not other users area.

    Or a way to filter through code the list of owners that popup when selecting the file owner to just list the current person user.

    Hi,

    You can do that using the Owner Restrictions add-on.

    You’ll be able to set additional restrictions for each owner field, depending on the role.

    For instance, for the subscriber role, you can set Only Himself, to only allow a subscriber to see his own name in the list for owners’ fields of type users.
