Release date of the 8.2.0 update

      Hi,

      there are news on the version 8.2? Can you provide a release date? We need to keep everything updated, there are security and performance issues if we cannot program the updates.

      Hello Francesco,

      I know you’re waiting for that update and we apologize for the huge delay about the release date we previously announced to you.

      The 8.2.0 release is actually ready, but since it is a new major version, also including two new add-ons, we still have to finish to write and translate a few articles and documentations about it (and perform unusual stuff we don’t normally do for common updates), and this is taking more time than expected.

      We’re making all our possible to publish it as soon as possible.

      Thank you for answering me. I’m constantly monitoring this page, as we are really concerned about the delay of the release date. I would be happy just knowing WHEN the release will be available, as I could prepare the test environment and then to apply the update to the production site. Please let us know if there is some news about it. Thank you.

      Hello,

      Sorry again for this delay.

      We are on the last phasis of the release. As this release is a major one, including two new add-ons, we had to perform more tests than usually, write additional documentations, blog posts, and so on.. that took more time than expected.

      We can’t give you a precise release date but we’re making all our efforts to release as soon as possible. We’re targeting that for next week.
