    When clicking on private files on the backend of the website I get the following error.

    There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    I have disabled all other plugins to see if it might be a plugin conflict but that didn’t resolve this issue.

    Also when click on the capabilities tab on the backend and trying assign access to a role none of the options save.

    Any help with getting these issue resolved would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    This actually means that there is a PHP Fatal error while loading the page. Best way to resolve that would be to look at your PHP error logs. You should find the related error in that file. Copy/paste it there in a private reply and we should be able to help.
