I am configuring wp customer area, however I cannot find how to assign file categories to my role (=member),indeed I would like members to be able to access their personal files (that’s good, it works) but that they also have access to files common to all members, and I’m not capable to find how to configure that
You can assign files to a role, or even to any registered user with the additional owner types add-on.
However, you can’t assign files categories to a role, but in the files categories widget, you can check a box to hide the categories where the currently connected user doesn’t own any file.
