Cannot activate ‘Notifications’

      Hello!

I’m trying to re-activate my license for ‘Notifications’ which was just renewed, but when I click the ‘activate’ button on the plugin tab ‘licenses’, nothing happens. If I save the page, nothing happens either.

      Am I doing something wrong?

      Best regards,

      Carla

Hi everyone, is someone there? I’m waiting on this issue since Friday.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Hello,
My apologies for the late reply,

Go to the My Account tab, API Keys section,
Find the old Notifications add-on key and delete it.

Try again to enter your new license.

      Hello!

I’m looking the My Accounts tab, API Keys section, but there is not an option to delete the Notifications key, there is only one and it says “not yet ended”, “0 out of 1 used”.

I do have an installed Key for ‘Front End Publishing’ that is actually working, and in that one I can see the ‘delete’ button.

Just as a reminder, the issue I’m facing is on the WordPress dashboard, pressing the ‘activate’ button does nothing.

      Thanks for the help!

        Hello,

Can you go to the licenses page, open chrome dev-tools (ctrl+shift+i), and check for errors in the console (in red), and send me a screenshot?

These are the errors I get:

      in options-general.php:492

      —and—

      Hi Carla,

Can you review your wp-config.php file?
Some constants are defined in this file. It could be that one of them has been misconfigured, rendering the script inaccessible.

In particular, check the constants WP_PLUGIN_URL, WP_CONTENT, or even WP_CONTENT_URL.

Hi! For some reason, the files mentioned in the error were really missing from the install. I downloaded the plugin again and reinstaled it, and now everything is working.

      Thanks a lot!
