Force private files to download instead of opening in the same window

    Hi CA,

    I would like to be able to force all private files/attachments to be downloaded rather than open in the same browser window (this causes confusion with users who cannot get back to the customer area), how can I do this? I am using the enhanced files plugin too but I see no option to force download of private files.

    Hi there,

    This option is located in Settings > WP Customer Area > Private Files. You’ll find a field, at the top of the page (if the Enhanced Files add-on is enabled) allowing you to choose which file’s extensions should be opened in the browser directly.
