Would it be possible to have different “Create file” pages, with different ACF forms embedded? Is it possible to have filters on the dashboard or in the “My files” page? This would be aesome if the user can filter his own files, or the files sent by others.

Hi,

Hmmm.. I think that would be a hard job because that would require duplicating some code (hard to maintain then). However, conditional fields from ACF works within WP Customer Area, so you could create a first ACF field, like, “private file type”, and then, depending on this selection, you could display a completely differrent ACF form. That would be way easier to create and maintain.

You can use the author widget for that. It will display links to users that have a relationship with the currently logged-in user.

After sometests, I aknoledged that when you select an author, it filters the files shown, but at the same time it loose the ordering cryterium, so they are no morwe from the newest to the oldes, as usual.

Unfortunately this is not the case, as my goal was to have different forms based on user identity (different catalogs of services with different prices, for example).

This was very good advice, I completely forgot that widget. Thank you.

Not sure what you mean, I don’t clearly see what your use case is actually. Having differrent forms is not incompatible with the fact you can keep a single engine managing all your differrents forms, customized based on user roles, for instance.
If customizing through ACF is not enough, you can probably still use our template system documentation, which will help you find out which forms templates you need to edit to meet your needs.
Regards.
