Hi, since the new WP version was released, we have a strange behaviour in the back end page ALL FILES. Currently we cannot filter the Files by Visibility of a User. Is there any update coming soon? Thank you.

Hello,
Sorry you are experiencing such an issue after updating WP.
Currently we cannot filter the Files by Visibility of a User.
What do you mean? What is the actual behavior? Do you receive any error?
Is something happening when you validate the forms? Is the page refreshing?
Could you please open the chrome dev tools and see if you see any red output error?
Do not hesitate to provide screenshots if necessarry.
Regards.

Hi Thomas,
as I said it’s a strange behaviour. We have 5 administrator accounts inside WP, but the only one can set the filters is mine. When a collaborator of mine tries to set the filter “VISIBLE BY”, he gets the same list he had without filter, like the filter just doesn’t exist. This isn’t happening with my account, that is working regularly. Honestly I cannot guess what’s happening here.

Hello,
Could you please, from both the accounts (one that work, one that doesn’t), fill the form, validate, then copy the URL in the address bar. The URL should include parameters from the form. Also take a screenshot of the form please.
Then paste the URL here, in a private reply, so I can verify the passed arguments and attach the screenshots.
Also, please try this:
- make sure the accounts for which the form doesn’t work are administrators accounts (and not editor or something else), from their user profile page
- try from another browser, or in incognito mode, in case a browser’s extension is interferring
Regards.
