    That shouldn’t be the case. You’re using the Search add-on, right?

    Yes. When I search any query the files displayed are only owned by user (this is ok).

    But, when I leave empty the query, the result will display all the files from all users.

    Yes, it is possible. You can override our templates and remove any part you don’t want to show.

    Also, make sure that you did not check View ANY private file for your subscribers in Settings > WP Customer Area > Capabilities > Private Files.

    Currently it’s only check “View private files“, “View ANY private file” it’s uncheck.

    Another question

    I want to display only the search field & search button (no other filters) but do it through the shortcode so I don’t have to override the templates.

    I want to leave the sidebar and the behavior on widgets and other places, that’s why I don’t want to override the templates.

    It’s possible to customize the shortcode like that?

    Ex. [customer-area-search filters=no max_results=no  /]
