Archive Files and Dates

      HI!
I wanted to know if it was possible to divide folders into days as well as months.

Example if there are files uploaded in the past days I would like to see them day by day in the folder of the month..

I need this function to differentiate the next day's files as the filenames stay the same but the contents change day by day.

It's possible?

      Hi,

      The private area actually only includes yearly and monthly archives. We don’t actually have any daily archive, and this feature is not planned for now. This would require customization.

      I am not sure I have an actual idea as a workaround to achieve your requierement. I would probably recommend that you hire a WP developer from your region to achieve that for you… Sorry.

      No problem! it was just to understand if it was possible to have even this small implementation .. Actually if you can do it it would be better ..

      If so, please consider it for future updates. It’s a useful option.

      Just to clarify, be cause I’m not even sure that the feature you are looking for will fit your needs:

      I need this function to differentiate the next day’s files as the filenames stay the same but the contents change day by day.

      If I understand correctly, you create everyday a new private file post, named for instance, “John’s files” (each day the same name), and you insert an attachment file named, for instance “John’s report for 05/02/2023”. Is that right ?

      Or, maybe, are you just editing the private file post every day, to change the inserted attachment file to something else?

      The feature you’re asking for would only work in the first case.
