Hi everyone.
I wanted to know a quick info.
For the roles of Contributor, Author and Publisher, I would like to publish the blog articles directly using the customer area without having to access the WordPress administrative panel.
Is this possible in any way? Is there a way to do this?
Thanks for your support
I’ll wait for you here
Greetings

Hello,
We do not recommend doing that.
You could use the Protect Post Types add-on to let your users publish some content from a Custom Post Type you created especially for that. But you shouldn’t use it to let your users publish some default WP “blog” post _types. The reason behind that is that this custom post type is a WP default one, and many others plugins will add their own stuff on it, and WPCA will not be able to ensure that the features are always been taken in account (eg. others plugins won’t care about post assignations and owners, and will use their own method to display the post, no matter if you set an owner or not).
Also, our plugin does not provide by default frontend forms for custom post types. It means that even if you created a custom CPT for your blog (which is maybe a big task, depending on your theme), you’ll also need to add custom development to replicate the frontend forms that allow publishing from the frontend.
So, sorry, but the short answer is no, WP Customer Area cannot be used out of the box to let your users publish blog posts from the frontend.
Best regards.
