Enhanced files, choose sub-file order after upload

    Hi, is there any way to sort the sub-files once they have been uploaded?
    The defualt system when I add a new sub file adds it to me as the last, I would like it to be the first instead.
    To be able to do this at the moment I have to delete all the files already associated and reload them in the desired order.

    Hello,

    This is actually not possible, there’s no drag and drop feature right now to reorder the files, but this is a great feature request.

    However, I won’t lie, this feature is not on our ETA right now. The best workaround for now is to simply upload files in the order you expect to display.

    OK maybe it is possible to add a small piece of code (function.php or custom.js) so that if I add a new file instead of being loaded last it is loaded first.
    I hope this is easier and faster to implement

    Hi,

    I understand your request, but this is actually not in our Roadmap. We have a lot of features and fixes to implement before we can be able to consider this one.

    However, WP Customer Area is well coded and easily extendable and customizable (see our Template system documentation, any part of the area is customizable). Do not hesitate to hire a WP developer from your region to do that for you. As you said, this is surely doable by implementing a few additional scripts.
