To hide categories from certain users.”

    I have created a category to store and keep organized the files of different clients, but these folders are displayed to all clients even though the content is not shown since this content is restricted to each user. My question is, is there any plugin available, and if not, is there any way to hide these categories for users who do not have content in those folders and are restricted only to the owners or users to whom those files have been assigned? Thank you very much.

    I have the same exact question. If a category contains no items for the logged in user then it should be hidden.

    Hello,

    You can hide the categories for which the currently logged-in user does not have any content assigned to in Appearrence > Widgets > Files/Pages categories.

    Edit the widget options and you’ll see a dropdown to hide those categories.
