Oh, and if the owner is always the same admin account, you can also do this with the free base addon:

• remove the permission to choose an owner for the users having the « client » role (settings -> permissions)
• set the default owner to the admin account (settings -> private files).

That does not require any other add-on.

What we write is exactly how it is:

• You pay once to get access to the add-on zip files during 1 year. In that period of time, you have access to all updates.
• After 1 year, you loose access to updates if you do not renew. However, the add-on will still work as before. It does not stop working when the license expires.

This is closely related to your theme and how it treats custom post types. We provide regular WordPress custom post types (CPT), which should be able to be customized just like any other CPT.

For file sharing though, it should do the job nicely. You could start with the base plugin, available for free, and see if anything is missing for you.

That could be because of a js library conflict between our plugin and either one of the other plugins or your theme.

You should be able to do most of that with some addons (notifications, additional owner types). However you may need some custom development for a few things.

We use the core WordPress user system, and the base plugin is free. You should give it a try and see what is missing.

A single license is enough, no problem. You can manage the URL linked to it from your account page on this website.
