Participant# 3 years, 10 months agoBonjour,

Participant# 3 years, 10 months agoBonjour,

Participant# 3 years, 10 months agoHi,
I have a different approach that could be slightly easier I think: override the template file which displays the dashboard and stuff in there some conditional code based on the user role to include some custom HTML or even a custom post type of your own which would allow that content to be customizable easily.
The template system documentation explains that quite well but do not hesitate to ask if you do not get something.
Is there already a way to alter this behaviour?
Currently not, but as I said, modify the main plugin by adding your own hooks where needed, test it and once you have all the modifications you need, just submit a merge request in the plugin repository, I will review it and include that in the plugin in the next version.

Participant# 3 years, 10 months agoHi
1- create a private area for a client to share confidential documents with.
Yes, that is possible with the base plugin, for free.
2- create a free and a premium version that allows me to share up to 2 documents for free and more documents with a subscription. and then create different subscription levels for registered users
Yes for the « sharing » part. For the subscription/memberships, you should have a look at specialized membership plugins.

Participant# 3 years, 10 months agoHi,
That aspect of the plugin is managed in the file customer-pages-addon.class.php : https://gitlab.com/wp-customerarea/plugins/customer-area/-/blob/master/src/php/core-addons/customer-pages/customer-pages-addon.class.php
We will accept a pull request to add filters you may need to be added in order to do that.
May I ask what goal you are trying to achieve? Support for WPML or multilang plugins?

Participant# 3 years, 10 months agoHi,
Can you try to rename the slugs for the WordPress pages which handle showing the private files?
Can you check if you have an nginx rule which rewrites URLs containing the word « files »?

Participant# 3 years, 10 months agoUn autre utilisateur a eu le même souci.

Participant# 3 years, 10 months agoHi,
That should be done at the WordPress authentication level. We do not handle that matter.
You can have a go at Google and/or get some ideas from https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/16906/ensure-user-can-only-be-logged-in-on-one-computer-at-a-time

Participant# 3 years, 10 months agohow I should proceed in order to create a private area in which to share different files for each user, registered with customer role, since in the free form only admins view the documents.
You probably did not setup permission. You can share content for any role even with the base plugin.
See https://wp-customerarea.com/documentation/getting-started/initial-setup/
I also wanted to know how I should proceed in order to create a subscription formula for customers to whom I allow access to the documents I share with them on the personal private area.
You can simply enable registration in your WordPress website.
See https://wp-customerarea.com/faqs/how-to-allow-registration-from-my-login-form/#2256

Participant# 3 years, 10 months agoHi,
Can you go to the plugin status page and see if there are any messages there?
You may have missed the installation step which creates the search page and also the one which synchronises the WP Customer Area menu.

Participant# 3 years, 10 months agoHi,
Currently not with just our plugin/add-on.
At some point in time, a plugin on wordpress.org had implemented support for WP Customer Area (I believe it was https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-duplicator/). You could ask the author if this is still the case (or just try it).

Did you override any template file on your theme?
Also, did you have a look at that documentation: https://wp-customerarea.com/documentation/developer-guides/theme-development/ ?
More specifically the chapters about:
- Alternate custom single templates
- Custom pages templates

Participant# 3 years, 10 months agoBonjour,

Participant# 3 years, 10 months agoHi,
I have no idea why there is that behaviour on Chrome mobile. It could be many things, related to the web server setup, to your WP theme, to other plugins. I have no idea. Sorry.
